Julie Johnson Barkley was frustrated with knotted and tangled earbud cords after her husband gave her an iPod for her birthday. She liked her earbuds and didn’t want to invest in new ones. So one day, she took apart her 7-year-old son’s extra yo-yo and experimented with different earbud wrapper prototypes. She finally came up with an idea for a simple little storage device called the Earbud Yo-Yo®. This cool new gadget was the perfect answer to easily manage earbud cords for MP3 players, iPods, cell phones, games, radios and smart phones.
Organization is easy with the Earbud Yo-Yo®. You just wrap your cord around the center of this little device and lock it into place with the unique grippers. When you want to access the cord, just pull it to the desired length. It serves as an ear bud holder as well as a way to protect and organize the cord.
Julie took her invention a step further.
